If there’s one thing I love to do when it comes to style– it’s mixing. Ruffles and ripped up denim? Yes please! Pairing romantic with edgy pieces is a little more unexpected. While they may seem like opposites- they attract.

I’ve been on a budget lately and have been LOVING all of the pieces I have found. While I tend to buy more premium denim, I found the most perfect, high-wasited pair at Forever 21. And they’re only $29. They fit like a dream.

Because of the edginess, I toned it down with a romantic ruffled cold shoulder blouse, also from Forever 21. The light pink color and chiffon fabric is perfect for summer, and I am also a huge fan of the ruffle cuffs.
