Travel Chic

There’s nothing I love more than traveling. Whether it’s for work or play, something about taking flight and getting out of dodge is certainly my cup of tea.

I travel often for work…especially heading to markets to buy for my boutique. It’s one of my favorite parts of the job. I get to see all of the upcoming trends, meet the designers, and get inspired by the gorgeous colors and fabrics for the upcoming seasons.

It can be challenging to dress trendy for traveling and also for being on my feet all day. I tend to head straight from the airport to market, and that’s really early in the am, and AFTER waking up and trying to get ready with a 19 month old. It can be challenging to say the least! I usually try to plan ahead, but sometimes I’ve got to just “throw it together.”

This morning was no exception. I am thankful I have these staple pieces in my closet that keep me comfy and stylish at the same time. Of course, a hat is a must for those rushed mornings.

I am OBSESSED with these workout leggings by Koral. They truly double as a liquid legging- you can wear them to work out or wear them out! They are incredibly comfy and flattering. I could live in them.

I paired it with an easy pullover I got from H&M ($24.99!) that is lightweight enough to wear in FL, and also good for layering when I get to my colder destination.

I just got these sneakers from Adidas and love them! They are like a cloud! I am a runner, so I wanted something that was stylish but also serves double duty: I can wear them out and about on the town or to the gym.

I’ve linked similar items to all of the styles I’m wearing below. Catch ya on the flip side when I get to my destination! Make sure to follow me on Instagram to see all of my latest #ootds @lala_styled.

The 3 Easy, Wearable Trends for Spring

cropped-img_4378.jpgSpring is in the air and fashion is in full bloom. Hot from the runways at New York’s Fashion Week, I chose the top three wearable and must-have trends for the upcoming season.

Off the shoulder tops dominated as spring’s hottest go-to piece. I am especially loving linen in soft pastel colors, such as lilac or pale pink. So go ahead, bare those shoulders as the temperatures rise.

Dainty floral prints dominated down the runway, especially skirts paired with bra tops. Designers pushed the envelope and mixed the feminine with a bit of sex appeal.

Chokers- my favorite 90’s revival- are here to stay for the season. From jeweled dazzlers to delicate lace to leather, anything goes. The key is to layer, layer, layer. Chokers work exceptionally well paired with long layered pendants.
